After completing the required coursework at the Massage Institute of Cleveland, graduates will be eligible to take the National exam for Massage Therapy in the State of Tennessee. Applicants must also pass a criminal background check.

The Massage Institute of Cleveland, 2245 Chambliss Avenue, Cleveland, Tennessee 37311, (423) 559-0380, is authorized by the State of Tennessee Higher Education Commission to provide a certificate program in massage therapy via the Massage Therapy 500 course. This authorization must be renewed each year and is based on an evaluation by minimum standards concerning quality of education, ethical business practices, health and safety factors, faculty qualifications, and fiscal responsibility.
